All of us at One Organized Mom have been working extremely hard to stay on top of the changes and recommendations for battling Covid-19.
Our main focus has always been the safety of our staff and clients. With that in mind, we’ve made a few recent changes to our policies and procedures. While we have always cleaned with an alcohol and hydrogen peroxide mixture, we’ve added some new cleaners to our arsenal. We are now cleaning with Hypochlorous Acid ( HOCI or Electrified Water) and disinfecting with BIOESQUE Disinfectant Solution. Both of these cleaning agents are recognized by the EPA as effective against the Coronavirus.
Additionally, every one of our staff members has taken and passed a “Cleaning Up Covid-19” training class. This class focused on the proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) like booties, gloves and masks. It demonstrated the “Johns Hopkins Hospital / WHO” hand washing technique. It also provided other tips on properly cleaning and sanitizing equipment, vehicles and supplies in an effort to help keep us all safe. These are surely some crazy and challenging times so we are constantly re-evaluating our policies and procedures to ensure we are complying to the standard.
Currently we are no longer shaking out small rugs, changing bed linens or folding towels and blankets to help prevent the spread of germs. While we certainly miss doing some of these “beautifying tasks” we just want to keep everyone involved, safe and healthy. These are just a few of the tasks we are no longer doing but hope to be able to soon enough. We will continue to keep you updated on the changes and recommendations we are using for battling covid-19.
