Gentle on your hands and gentle on your home!

The soap that does it all! Today I’m sharing how you can use Dawn dish soap around your home for a cleaner, happier space.

1. Clean up grease in your kitchen

Use Dawn dish soap to clean up the grease residue in your kitchen! Fill your sink with hot water, add some Dawn dish soap, and scrub away the layer of grease that builds up on your stove, ceiling, walls, cabinets, or pretty much anything else! Use a soft sponge to prevent scratching any of these surfaces. Wherever there’s a mess in your kitchen, Dawn dish soap is a great all-purpose cleaner – without any nasty chemicals!

2. Clean the grime off your tub, shower or tiles

You’ve tried it all! But none of those harsh chemicals have shifted those stubborn stains in your tub or shower. Use Dawn and some hot water and a cloth or sponge to get into those nooks and crannies where grime and scale tend to build upYou can also combine Dawn with vinegar for stronger cleaning power, especially when tackling hard water stains. Just combine them in a spray bottle, spray down your tub or shower and let it sit for a few minutes, then scrub it down.

3. Pre-treat oil, grease or cooking stains on clothes.

It’s the worst when you get that greasy smudge on your favorite shirt while cooking dinner! While a regular laundry cycle won’t remove these stains, pre-treating them with Dawn will! Apply Dawn directly on top of the stain and let it soak in. You can either rub it in with your fingers or scrub it with a toothbrush or another soft brush. For more delicate fabrics, simply let the soap sit on the stain. Then launder the item as usual. Dawn will lift those greasy spots right off your clothes!

4. Clean your windows

Did you know that Dawn can be used to clean your windows? Who knew?! Mix 3 drops of Dawn in a gallon of water and fill a spray bottle, or use this recipeSpray down your windows and wipe clean with a soft cloth. Watch the dirt and streaks melt away!

5. Pool cleaner

Squirt some Dawn into the middle of the pool. All the dirt, pollen and suntan lotion will move to the edges of the pool where you can easily scoop it out. So little effort and you get to enjoy a relaxing day by your sparkling clean pool! Sounds like a pretty good trade to me.

6. Unclog a sink, drain or toilet

For sinks and shower drains, pour 1/2 cup of Dawn into the drain and let it sit for a half hour. Then pour some boiling water into the drain to clear it outFor toilet clogspour a cup of Dawn into the toilet and let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. Then pour a bucket of hot water from about a foot above the toilet bowl to give that clog the boot.

There are so many other things you can do with Dawn! Clean everything from your carpets to your mattress to the tools in your garage! The possibilities are endless. Use Dawn dish soap to clean your house today! Better yet, call One Organized Mom and we’ll come do it for you.

Happy cleaning!
